Hi,

My apache server reports this under WHM’s Service Status:

Memory Used 16.5 %
Swap Used 86.79 % (and, understandably, there’s a warning sign next to the swap used figure)

It’s always approximately that way. To me, it doesn’t seem to make sense and my understanding is that the memory should be almost full before any swap starts being used, right? What could I do to fix that? Is there a way to allocate more of my 2GB memory to the server? enlarge the swap file? There are so many options in WHM, I don’t know where to start.

I’m running a site with roughly 80,000 page views per day, each pv totaling probably around 200-300K. The server’s specs are as follows:

1x Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz
2 GB DDR2 Memory (up to 667MHz)
1 x 250 GB 7200 RPM SATA II
10Mbit Port Speed
