We recently changed servers. Every worked fine for a little bit, but now keep getting time out error when trying to get to any of my websites or my clients web sites. Can’t get to my cpanel either.

Tech says that pages coming up for him fine.

The techs and I have been going back and forth on this for more then 24 hours.

Are there any affiliate programs that pay out immediately….

you request payment, or do they all have a minimum payout/day of the month when they pay?

This is my sad experience…

The past weekend I received an email from RSA because it seemed that there were som malicious files on my server to were citybank clients were ebing redirected on a fishing scam.

It seemed that these phishing guys managed to upload a folder inside my joomla folders and were linking people to fake citybank files…

So, I’ve deletetd this folders from my joomla and notified RSA about that…

I’ve also contacted Hostingzoom for support on this matter and the guy who answered my ticket did not even warn me they could cancel me my account. He just gave me a short answer telling me to update my joomla version…

Well, that was three days ago…

Yesterday I’ve received an hostingzoom support email telling me they were also notified by RSA and that:

my "Responsible account has been disabled as far violation of TOS. Please take a look into the matter and restrict any such offending content."

Unfortunately all domains in my VPS account were "disabled". Not only the atacked one. I cannot access my domains or server anymore!!!

So, since yesterday I’m contacting the support team to try to solve this problem and at least reactivate other accounts on this server because my clients are very upset…

I do not even know what "disabled" means?! Does it mean they irrevesibly deleted my accounts. Does it mean they just suspended it, temporarily?! Will I recover my data? What?!

Oddly enough, I used to have inmediate answers to all my support tickets. But since yesterday nobody bottered answer none of my tickets. It is like their support team dissapeared.

I’m desperate!!!!

Hosted Exchange

We’re looking for hosted exchange service, we have 6 e-mail accounts that we will need to setup, as well as multiple distribution lists (around 20 or so).

I expect to have the ability to share calendars and contacts.

We’re currently hosting our exchange with someone else, and we will want to move over our inboxes to the new company.

Any suggestions? I’m not looking for the cheapest solution, I was something rock solid, that I’m not going to have to worry about.

I see their presence all over the web, but they’re very short on reviews. Does anyone have any opinion about their services?

Email blocked. Solution: VPS, ded IP, or ?

I’ve been on reseller shared hosting for many years and few problems with my domain’s email being blocked by sbcglobal.net, att.net, yahoo.com, etc.

My primary reseller host stopped offering reseller hosting, lowest available account now is fully managed VPS.

In recent months my domain email has been blocked 3-4 times by other ISPs. I do not spam, so I assume it is another user on the same IP.

I have asked the host if getting dedicated IPs for my account will stop this, and they said:

"The mails will be send via server’s main IP address xx.xx.xx.xx so changing to dedicated IP address is not a solution.

As there are many customers in shared hosting it is not able to find a permanent solution. You can upgrade to VPS to avoid this as there will be your own accounts and the IP will not get blocked unless there is spamming from the accounts."

Yet I find conflicting opinions on WHT re: dedicated IP vs. VPS to stop mail from being blocked.

Your advice appreciated.

Maybe many people are using this company share server, but here i need to tell someone try to buy a hosting product from them.

Web Space Unlimited ≠ Unlimited files

On there web page you can see, Web Space Unlimited – WOW!, but this in fact not, becos the files are limited to 100,000 files on Windows plans and 300,000 files on Linux plans , i am there company old customer more then 4 years(Professional Plan), i was facing this rule now in those month, 4 years ago when i bought the space and there have not this kindly rules, so in last 3 years i was upload 150,000 products to my web shop, 1 product around 2 thumbnail etc. and add my shop scrip files 3500+, so the total files around 303500(150,000 x 2 + 3500), Now i can not upload any products to my space, and everyday have Disk quota exceeded error. so there is one why before i find new server space which is delete my products from my web shop(this is very stupid way).

Why i need make this post here :

A, Let all new user to know hostexcellence and ixwebhosting fooling customer (i think if they list this rules (limit to files amount) on package pages, there will no customer interesting to buy their products)

B, They are changes there Terms of Service always

C, Even old customer hosting plan havn’t get Exp. Date, also need follow the new rules, when you ask them , they will tell you like this "We have limit to files amount, but not for file size" and "if this amount of files is not enough for your store, I may advice you check our VPS solution. You will be able to manage it without any file limits."

Hostgator affiliate program issue [split]

I was promoting Hostgator affiliate program for 2 months and made over 9 VPS sales and 1 shared hosting sales.

Today i found that Hostgator removed my $300 commission from my CJ affiliate account for VPS sales. I made those 3 VPS sales 2 months ago and referred my affiliate links directly to my clients who made the purchase.

All 3 purchase was genuine and those VPS hosting was not charged back by my clients.

according to the Hostgator TOS if I made any sales through the affiliate link and if the buyer don’t ask for a refund or charge back then I will get my commission.

But what is this?

Why Hostgator reversed my commission which was in extended condition and was made 2 months ago?

I opened a ticket to the affiliate. If they do not give my commission back I will definitely do my best to ruin their affiliate sales.

I personally own 15 article sites

4 Forum sites

I will post to ripoff report against them

I will send 1 million emails to people

and do 100s of forum post.

I am a Computer Engineer and I know the truth what they are actually doing. because they cant say that those sales were fake.

So be aware before marketing their program.

ipage uploading issues

I have been using ipage for a couple months now and one problem I always seem to be having is when uploading files and overwriting the previous ones. However, after the upload I am not seeing the new content on the page. I have had this happen with my CSS files before and they informed me that it just takes a while on their servers. Now I am having major issues with this when dealing with Flash content.

I have contacted their customer service people about this earlier and they were no help. They merely told me to contact my ISP about clearing their cache and to clear my own browser cache, which I have already done. I have also already had people try viewing the website from a different computer and ISP and they see the seem thing as I do. So I do not believe that the customer service person knew anything about what they were saying and didn’t understand my problem.

I was wondering if anyone out there uses ipage and has these issues with uploading or if this is just an issue that comes along with most web hosts.

I might add that when I upload the same files/directories to my school’s secure crux server, I do not have any issues viewing the updated files/web pages instantly.

I have tried everything that I can think of, including simply deleting the files from the server and re-uploading them, but I still get the same results.

Any information would be appreciated because I am considering canceling with them because this headache is just not a good balance to its cheapness.
